MEET CAROLINE SWINDELL
I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHC-A) and a Licensed Professional School Counselor. I have experience working with children, teens, and adults in an outpatient, school, and group home setting.
I specialize in working with LGBTQIA+ individuals and couples, and am also passionate about helping heal trauma and working through body image concerns with my clients.
I lead with a trusting relationship and establish empathy with all my clients. My main goal is for clients to see themselves as the experts of their own life and work towards radical self-acceptance.

APPROACH
By following a person centered and eclectic approach to counseling, we work together to help you develop tools for a deeper understanding of your needs and boundaries. I also utilize Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Emotion- Focused Therapy (EFT) through an attachment based lens.
My practice includes anti-racist, body neutral, and queer-allied values to ensure equity in my practice, my goal is to ensure that ALL my clients feel safe for their own counseling journey. You've already done the hard part by just asking for help!
