MEET GRAYSON PATTON

Hi! I’m Grayson, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) practicing in Charlotte, North Carolina. I have experience providing therapy to adolescents and adults in the partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, outpatient, and primary care settings. I have worked with individuals struggling with eating disorders, body image concerns, life transitions, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and more. I am currently providing both in-person and virtual services.

I strongly believe that empathy, trust, and respect are the foundation of a therapeutic relationship. As a therapist, I hope to provide a space for you to share openly, discover new perspectives, and feel heard. You are not defined by what you are struggling with.

APPROACH

I use a person-centered, strengths-based approach, in which therapy is a collaborative process. My goal is to help you align with your values and become the best version of yourself. Working together, we will create an individualized treatment plan, which will reflect your unique needs. Throughout the therapy process, I will incorporate different interventions from evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapies (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). I practice with a Health at Every Size (HAES) lens and will empower you to find peace and appreciation for your mind and body connection.

Taking the first step towards change is hard. Rest assured, I will create space for you to work through whatever you are going through at your own pace.
