MEET HANNAH GIESSLER

Scene-2.JPG

Hi, I’m Hannah! I’m a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHCA) here in North Carolina, and I’ve had the privilege of working with clients ages 12 to 55 in settings ranging from outpatient therapy, to crisis centers, residential treatment, and partial hospitalization programs.

I specialize in supporting individuals navigating eating disorders, body image concerns, trauma, LGBTQIA+ experiences, anxiety, depression, anger, identity exploration, relationship challenges, and life transitions.

In our work together, my goal is to create a space that feels safe, affirming, and judgment-free—where you can untangle your thoughts, explore your feelings, and make sense of your experiences. I’m here to walk alongside you as you take steps toward living the life you envision for yourself.

APPROACH

Clinically, I work from an integrative lens, often utilizing therapy frameworks including Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TFCBT), Somatic Experiencing, Solutions Focused Therapy, and Mindfulness Based Therapy (MBT). This way, we can work through issues from a mind and body approach to best tune into your needs.

 â€‹

In our work together, there’s no need to filter yourself or “have it all figured out.” We’ll dig into the messy, beautiful, complicated parts of your story and work toward building a life that feels more like your own. My role is to walk beside you, hold hope when you can’t, and remind you that change—while sometimes hard—is absolutely possible.
