Photoroom_20241215_183313 (1)_edited.jpg

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who specializes in working with adolescents and adults as well as their families as they move toward recovery from their eating disorders. My clinical specialties include eating disorders and body image disturbances, anxiety, OCD, trauma, and Borderline Personality Disorder. I also am passionate about working with couples through betrayal, trauma, infidelity, intimacy issues and other relational healing-Attachment based trauma.

I strive to provide my clients with a unconditionally accepting safe space to explore deep rooted emotional, cognitive or behavioral patterns from a functional perspective.

Together, we will discover potentially hidden pain or fear that can be driving patterns in your life, as well as practical solutions to live a balanced, peaceful existence.

APPROACH

In the work I do with clients, I often utilize Internal Family Systems, Emotion-Focused and Narrative styles of therapy. Additionally, I provide group therapy, multi-family support groups and therapeutic meals with clients and their families. I have specialized experience and knowledge in Family Based Treatment or “Maudsley Method” and can provide parents support and guidance in navigating their child’s eating disorder.

I provide relational and systemic therapy to assist in healing from a variety of other mental health diagnoses and symptoms. I am most passionate about the importance of incorporating a client’s contexts and systems, (most frequently their families) into the treatment process along with challenging toxic Diet Culture and destructive body-image ideals.
