Hi! I'm Meegan, the owner and a therapist at MMC. I am a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC), Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) and an Integrative Health Coach, located in Charlotte, North Carolina.

I have experience working in a variety of settings including outpatient mental health clinics, residential settings, university campus clinics, integrative group practice, domestic violence and sexual assault crisis program/hotlines and in a virtual-based tele-mental health setting.

I enjoy working with clients (ages 14+) through eating disorder recovery, body image concerns, self worth issues, depression, anxiety/stress, life transitions, relationship issues, trauma, identity development and self discovery.

  • M.A. Clinical Mental Health Counseling

   The George Washington University

  • Certified Integrative Health Coach Duke University, Integrative Medicine Program

  • Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC)

  • Member of the American Counseling Association (ACA)

  • SC Telehealth Licensed Provider

I utilize a clinically integrative approach based on each client’s individual needs, as therapy is not a "one size fits all" situation. I stem from a strength-focused, and person-centered approach utilizing a variety of techniques, including but not limited to, Cognitive-behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) and expressive approaches including elements of mindfulness, experiential therapies, art and narrative therapy.

My practice is aligned with a Health at Every Size (HAES) and weight inclusive approach to provide a non-judgmental space for clients to feel safe and reconnect  with their mind and body.
